Trevor's 3-Year Pictures

We never got Trevor's 3-Year pictures taken this year. He turned 3 in February and I usually set something up, with his mom's permission, and we go do his pictures. This year it just passed us by. Angie asked me to take some pictures of him so at least we'd have something...so, we did it last night. Trevor was very willing to do this and we had a lot of fun! Enjoy:)

Baking With Trevor

While Aubriana was taking a nap this morning, Trevor helped to do some baking! My friend, Amanda, and I had a Premier Jewelry party today and I offered to bring the "sweet treat". So, we made good ole brownies and Turtle Cookie Bars. They were a huge hit!! I felt like such a loser at the party...NOBODY I invited showed up. Wow, that's pretty sad. Oh well, whataya do? Bummer, but it was still a good time. I had fun trying on the jewelry and having some girl time!

4th of July

There's really not a lot to say about the 4th of July. Unfortunately, the weather was aweful and caused all of our activities to get cancelled, except for the parade. Trace had to work that day, of course, so we were going to spend the day in Windsor to enjoy the festivities and watch the Fireworks there that night.
Instead, we just attended the parade then came home for the rest of the day and evening. We even bought sparklers and snake thingy's, but didn't even get to do those. It's okay, there's always next year!
I keep saying "we"...this consisted of Aubri, myself, my mom, and my sister! Yes, they arrived at our house Friday evening and stayed all weekend with us. We had a lot of fun together just chillin and being together. They left Monday night to go up north to visit my grandma, aunt, and my brother's family. They will return to our house next Tuesday to stay the rest of the week before they have to go back home Sunday.

Grammy (this is what she calls my mom!) & Aubri gettin ready for the parade!

Look at those beautiful curls!!

Me, Aubri, Brayton, and his mom waiting for the parade to begin

Ahh...finally...we can see the beginning of the parade!

When they turned the corner, it started pouring down rain...go figure!

This is who we were waiting for...Daddy & Aunt Stacey in the armored Bear Cat

100% Bullet Proof

We got so much candy...Aubri is enjoying a sucker as she watched the remainder of the parade from the FD garage!

This girl will drop and do the splits even in the middle of playing!

She goes all by herself on her motorcycle now with no help at all!

18 Month Pictures

I should have done this right away when I posted the Smilebox a couple of posts back, but I wasn't thinking. I need to post some pictures individually because otherwise when I go to print, I won't have them...it's impossible to print a video! So, I'm sorry to bring back pictures you've maybe already seen, but it has to be done!

Thursday Night...

Just a quick note about our outing on Thursday night. Trace & I have been attending bike night's on Thursday nights when he's not working. It's a chance for us to get out and spend some time together on the bike and with other friends. It's always a good time!

This past Thursday we ended up skipping bike night and instead just met some friends in Des Moines and went riding together a little. We always make a few stops to chat and eat along the way. This particular night we went to Secari (Sorry, not sure of the spelling), a sushi bar. I actually tried raw fish amongst other things and to my surprise, it was delicious. What I tried was called a Firework...spicy and delicious! I also ordered a hot dish...Teriaki Chicken, which was phenomenal too. This food is something Trace has been asking me to try for a very long time and finally this night, I did!!

We ended the night with a short ride and a fireworks display!
