Kendig Christmas

Since Trace had to work on Christmas Day and the day's before and after, we celebrated Christmas with his family in Elkhart on Tuesday, December 28th.  We actually went the day before (Trace joined us at midnight when he got off work) so we would be there first thing Tuesday morning.  It was nice because even after Christmas day, we still had celebrating to do.  It was a wonderful day.  Grandma Alice came, Uncle Sherman joined us later in the afternoon and Sarah came out to visit for awhile.  We had a great day together and Aubri had lots of fun opening more presents.  She definitely became a pro at it!

Joan prepared turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, corn casserole, crescent rolls, lots of snacks, and chocolate whipping cream cake!  It was all really yummy and we of course, stuffed ourselves.

 Grandma Joanie gave Aubri a gift on Monday night...Dora body pillow!

It was a fantastic day.  We were blessed with lots of great gifts from Trace's family and my family this year.  Everyone is always so generous and kind.  It's great getting together with family and making memories!
