Jesus is Risen! He came back to life...2000 years ago and today we celebrated His Resurrection. What a glorious day it was. Without the Resurrection, nothing matters - not the preaching of the gospel, not His life, not His death, not His forgiveness, not heaven or hell, not grace and faith and salvation...Jesus rising from the dead means He's ALIVE today and lives in us and if we believe in our hearts that He died for our sins and rose again and accept Him as our personal Lord and Saviour, He will forgive us our sins and save us, preparing for us a place in Heaven where we will reign will Him in Glory forever and ever! WOW...what an amazing gift, better than any other.
Our morning started very early on Sunday! We decided to go to the 7:30 a.m. Easter Service. We got up early, got ready and enjoyed an awesome morning service. Aubri even went up front to assist with a visual demonstration. She had to jump and far as she could. It was adorable! It was awesome to begin the day in the presence of God, worshipping Him in spirit and song.
After church we came back home and I put the breakfast casserole in the oven...we then had breakfast together and relaxed. We all snuggled in and took a nice long nap together early afternoon!
Later that afternoon, Grandma & Grandpa Kendig came over to celebrate and have supper.
The weather was absolutely gorgeous and the day was perfect!
