Our Sweet Girl Turns 4!

It doesn't even seem possible that you are already 4 years old.  It seems like just yesterday that we brought you home.  These years have definitely flown by way, way too fast.  As fast as it's gone though, it's all been 100% joyous!  I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Aubri, you are such a delight to be around.  It has been super fun watching you grow through the years and develop into an amazing little girl.  You are so darn smart, it's scary sometimes!  Your expressions, ability to have conversations, and the way you move and groove are impressive.  We couldn't have asked or wished for anyone better.  You are simply perfect in every way.

I can sit and stare at you and admire you for hours on end.  I never imagined I could love or feel so connected with a child like I do with you.  You are my world, my everything.  We are blessed beyond measure over and over to have you in our family.  It would not be complete without you.

You are a mix of girly girl and tomboy.  You don't go anywhere (even in the house) without your lip gloss and hand lotion.  You like to be clean, meaning...you could bathe all day long and you use hand sanitizer like it's going out of style.  You love to sing and dance and twirl and dress up.  You go through  oodles of outfits in one day and enjoy having your toy high heels on or real ones if they're available.

You love to stand and watch mommy get ready and then mimic it all yourself.  Product on your hair, blow dry, deodorant, make-up, finger nail polish, perfume, even feminine products...ie; small pads!  You crack me up.

You like your things to be in their place and spend a lot of time doing your office work, schedule, and calendar.

You are your mommy all over again.  You do so many things and say so many things just like me that Daddy even refers to you as mini Jerilyn!

On the tomboy side; you love to be rough and tumble with your daddy.  You are a tough little girl that doesn't give up without a fight.  You love to wrestle and learn tactical defenses and moves from your daddy. He loves teaching you and spending this kind of time with you!  You are very strong and have amazing calve muscles.

You also are in love with Spider Man...in fact, you used to say, "I wanna marry Peter Parker."  You are such a hoot.  You have gobs and gobs of Spider Man stuff and have to sleep with the blanket every night.

You are an all-around spectacular girl, full of spunk, curiosity, adventure, and fashion!

I love you noodle bug, to the moon and back...infinity!

~Mama

For months you said you wanted to be a Spider Man for Halloween and have a Spider Man Birthday party. As much as I didn't especially want to, I was going to be okay with it.  Thank goodness, one day you suddenly changed your mind and you were all about being a princess...in particular; Rapunzel.

Going forward Rapunzel was all that was on your mind and so you were Rapunzel for Halloween and you had a Rapunzel Birthday party!!

I wanted it to be perfect for you...I love planning parties for you. I went a bit nuts, but it was great...and worth it; just for you Baby Girl!

Sadly, Grandma Joanie became very ill the day of your party and wasn't able to stick around.  She made your amazing tower cake, but didn't have time to put the finishing touches on it before she left.  I was a bit frazzled with all that still had to be done in a short amount of time without her there to assist me.

Thanks to my wonderful and talented husband, we got the job done together and had a fabulous party. He was my life saver and did an incredible job decorating the cake.  I'm so blessed to have such a grand life partner and soul mate.  We make a great team!

 Trace "Saving the Day"!

He's got a knack for this decorating stuff...don't ya think?!
Complete with her hair coming down from the window and all!

Nicely done, Hubby!

1st Party: Aubri's little friends
Kinley wasn't able to stay for the party so she stopped by beforehand to bring a gift!!  It was an outfit and nail polish, which Aubri loved.
Everyone colored pictures when they first arrived.
Then they got to braid and decorate their own hair with barretts and flowers!
