It used to be that we never, ever forgot Ellie's birthday. We would celebrate it every year, and usually with some of party with guests present. She would always get lots of presents due to the fact that she loves to open them and enjoy party food.
Since having children and her getting older, her birthday's have gotten much less attention, some years none at all. This year we were NOT going to let it slip by us. We purposely planned a party for her with a few guests, presents, and food!
She enjoyed it, we enjoyed it, and everyone went to bed happy that night!!
