Princess Party!

Aubri decided she would really like a princess party this year for her birthday.  She would be turning 5 years old, which is a pretty neat age...the beginning of them really growing up and starting to mature from a baby and a toddler to a little girl...a princess!

I immediately liked the idea and starting planning...it was continuously on my mind; thinking of the perfect party...the location, the decorations, the activities and games, the guests, the food, the party favors, and on and on.  I love this kind of stuff, especially it being for our daughter.

In the beginning, it was going to be a party for both boys and girls.  Aubri has so many friends that she really wanted to invite, many of them being boys!  With that idea in mind, I began thinking about and buying things for both boys and girls.

Then...as time went by and my mind started flooding with ideas to make this party spectacular, I realized it was going to be a very girly party that boy's simply would not be drawn too.  So, we decided to invite girls only and make this the most fabulous, glitzy, girl party ever!!

A lot of time and money was spent on her party and it turned out just perfect...even with the snowstorm we had the morning of the big party.

We had a few guests cancel due to the weather and more adults for the evening party cancel, but it was still wonderful and Aubri celebrated like a princess at her Royal Celebration!
