This sweet little gem joined our household on April 16, 2014. It was around dinner time when there was a knock on our door with a lady, named Stacey, carrying a car seat with this bundle of preciousness! His eyes were closed when they first enter ed, but quickly opened after a short time and stunned us with his gorgeous, big, bright, blue eyes!
It took zero time to fall in love and be swept away with his sweet innocence and 100% dependence on us. Knowing why the removal happened and speculating even further into the situation was more than enough to joyfully open our home to him for as long as he needed to make sure he would be safe, happy, and loved unconditionally.
I found myself just wanting to hold and snuggle him close for hours upon hours and not put him down. My desire was that he would immediately sense the love we had for him and be able to relax, trust and be comfortable, with no doubt that he would be well taken care of with nothing to harm him.
He very quickly filled our home with happiness, joy, peace, and hope. Hope that he would be able to stay and become a permanent part of our family! We put our trust in the Lord and prayed that His perfect will and plan would prevail for this little miracle and that He would use us in whatever way would best touch the life and bless this sweet angel boy.
We cherish all of the days with him!!
God, you are so good and we love you and thank you for blessing us with this baby boy.
