Today we went to a Retirement Ceremony and Party for Trace's Chief. He's retiring after 40 years and today the departments, family, friends, and others were in attendance to celebrate with him. It was a very nice event, but extremely warm! By the end, I felt like a dirty, stinky piggy!!
Aubri had a lot of fun, especially liked the bagpipe music, and made it known to others throughout the whole ceremony that she was present! Words such as, "hi", "all done", and "more" popped out of her mouth more than once. She wanted to acknowledge everyone that came, the late comers, she wanted more bagpipe music, and she announced "all done" each time someone finished speaking and the audience clapped. Whoo...it's a good thing she's cute and adored by so many!
She made lots of friends immediately when we arrived!
