School

We (actually, my mother-in-law, aka. Grandma) found a fabulous new school for Aubri to attend.  Everything about it looked great so I decided to take the plunge and go visit.  I thought it would be a quick 15 minute or so visit, but it ended up being the entire 2 hour class time!  Aubri was having so much fun she didn't want to leave.  That warmed my heart.  The visit and tour was great, Aubri had a blast, and it was done...she will attend there!

Starting in February through the end of the school year, she will go every Friday morning from 9:35-11:35 in the 2's & 3's Playtime classroom.  In addition, she has a spot in their Preschool program next fall and will attend 3 mornings.

It's been exciting and she really enjoys going.  I think it's excellent for her to have that interaction with other little kiddos, have an organized and structured "school" playtime experience, have an environment where she is learning and taking direction from other leaders, and simply having some time on her "own" away from all of us who love her dearly!

First Day:

She's ready for her 1st day!

A forced "cheese" makes her look frightened.
Not to worry, she was really happy!  In fact, she gave very quick hugs & kisses good bye and headed right in, making herself at home with the rice table, play dough station, and snow coloring table.
Her very own cubby!  Her picture is there now.
Her lead teacher, Miss Jenny!  She's getting a sticker.

Time for shoes.  She took them off to put on some "whoo whoo" shoes for dress up.

She had an awesome first day and loves to go every Friday!!

School Picture Day
She had school pictures and as always, did an outstanding job!  Here, she practices her smile.
What a goose!

Oh, by the way, her new school is called Plymouth Nursery School.
