This lamp post in the front yard was a bit of an eye sore that we thought about removing since we moved in. I would say I liked it more than Trace did, but the breaking point was when we learned for sure that the light didn't work and there was no easy way of fixing it. Enough!
BEFORE
Aren't the ducks cute?!
We got started and the first thing was to remove all of the boulders that surrounded this pole. This was no easy job as these were buried in the ground in layers and have been for many, many years. We worked as a team and accomplished this task successfully!
Next Trace & Aubri drove the Durango back and forth over the mound to flatten it.
Then we finished it by smoothing the area, digging a nice circle, and placing rocks around the flowers inside.
AFTER
This is much more appealing and it was fun completing it!
