Family Vacation - Part 2

Friday morning we left my parents in Arkansas and traveled about 4 hours to Jackson, MS where we visited our friend, Omar.  The girls were itchin to arrive here because they knew we had a hotel with a swimming pool and they were definitely ready to go for a dip.

Following lunch at the restaurant, Que Sera Sera where Omar works, we went directly back to the hotel to swim.  The weather was beautiful, in the 80's and it was a perfect day to be in the water.

Emili was very happy to meet Omar!

Before swimming we hit this local coffee shop where Omar spends enjoys going.
It was cute...old house with a variety of rooms where you can hang out and enjoy your food and drink.

After swimming we hit the outdoor shopping plaza.  The girls found this fountain to run through since they didn't get enough water at the pool!  They had fun.
Just chillin patiently while I shop!

For supper we hit this place.  It was hibachi style and oh, so good!
The girlies 1st experience at a place like this.
 Silly serious faces.

 Let the fun begin!
Emili giggled the whole time and had a ball!
Aubri was a little unsure, but loved it too.

Meet the Chef...he was super nice and had fun interacting with the girls!

The next morning before we left, we met up with Omar one more time for breakfast & coffee at Sneaky Beans.  We spent some time eating, visiting, and praying before pulling out for our next jaunt on the road.
