I showed her how first we have to take all of the yuck out of it with a spoon and our hands. And, after it's all cleaned out, we carve eyes, a nose, and a mouth.
She wasn't real fond of cleaning everything out of the pumpkin...she wanted to take pictures with my camera instead. And she didn't really want to watch me carve a face, she wanted the knife to do it herself!
I think her favorite part was giving the pumpkin kisses once we were all done.
