What a fun year of Halloween. This holiday isn't one we normally enjoy and celebrate, but this year was an exception and it was fun. Aubri is old enough to understand what "Trick-or-Treating" is and she absolutely loved it! She walked from house to house like a pro carefully picking out the perfect piece of candy and placing it ever so gently in her bucket. She didn't want to be held and she certainly did not want anyone else to carry her bucket! If there was a sucker to be chosen, that's what she selected, other wise she settled for chocolate or smarties. It was great watching her enjoy herself so much. She knew to follow the sidewalks and go from one house to the next. Crazy.
All in all, it was so much fun and we enjoyed it twice. Bonus...the weather cooperated!
Saturday night we went to Waukee and tonight, Adel. I figured we might as well get use out of the costume we bought, right?!
