Some sweet friends of ours blessed us with a FREE night's stay in a Double Queen Suite at
!!
!!It had an expiration date and they were going to be out of town the weekend so offered it to us to use. It was a perfect ending to our weekend. We loaded up the kids after a quick nap following church on Sunday and drove to the hotel where we enjoyed lots of room, swimming, eating & ice cream!

Aubri got to enjoy the first snow of the year outside one afternoon while I was working! Grandma Joanie and her were outside and Aubri was throwing snowballs at Daddy & Papa inside.

SHOE BOXES
It's that time of year again for filling shoeboxes for the Samaritan's Purse to go overseas to children who wouldn't otherwise get anything for Christmas. I love this project and it's a cool way to involve the kids and instill in them the importantance and joy of blessing others.
I took them shopping and they each got to pick out things to buy for their boy and girl! Then we came home and filled 'em up to send off! I explained to them the purpose and meaning of all of this and they listened intently excited to participate! Aubri still makes comments about sending this or that to her little girl!
They're packed full and being sent off with lots of love!
