Mexican Fiesta

A couple of weeks ago we hosted our annual get together with our Everest Family!  This year's theme was a Mexican Fiesta.  Almost the entire team, supports, and family were there for the party minus just a few.  We had a great time reminicing about the trip, sharing stories, enjoying food and drink, busting pinata's, singing, dancing, and good conversation.

It's tradition that Trace makes a special "Drink of the Day/Night" for these events.  This year's...El Conquistador.  It was some yummy drink and went over quite well.

For weekends up to this date we had had perfect Saturday's, no rain, hot maybe, but dry with no rain.  Then...the one Saturday we especially want it to be gorgeous so we can enjoy the outdoors on the brand new deck, what does it do?  Rains...and rains...AND rains some more.  All day, as a matter of fact, it rained.  Thank you God for the rain!

It all worked out fine, just not as pretty!  We made do with the garage.  Everyone stayed dry plus we got to spend a small amount of time on the deck later in the evening before returning to the garage for music.

Some friends we see pretty regularly, but others we don't, so it was so nice having everyone together...especially to celebrate Trace's CLEAR scan he had on the Wednesday before the party!  Hallelujah, God Is So Good!!!!!!

Nothing fancy, but this is the best we could do with the rain interfering!

The girls had a blast playing in the rain while we waited for the first guests to arrive.
I think Aubri changed 3x!

 Darling!

This pretty 'lil unicorn has no idea at this point that her head will be chopped off before long!

 Gayle models the moustache!
Cheers to their 1st time trying Sushi!
 Bite...wait for it...
Scotty used too much wasabi & Teresa is taking it all in!
They were impressed...and liked it.  Teresa actually had seconds.
Tomoko made Sushi homemade for us, it's so delicious.
Music in the garage courtesy of Justin later in the evening!
 And...of course, Aubri too!
Aubri held on as long as she possibly could then zonked out to the lull of the music!
Once girls were in bed, things really got wild!  Justin generously giving his wife, Alicia, the rest of the "El Conquistador"

Already excited for next year!
Love you all~
