The Fun Never Ends!

I have another fun weekend to report on! This was our weekend with Trevor, which is always a great time. We started off the weekend by picking up and meeting Grandma & Grandpa Kendig to take the kids while Trace and I closed on our house. Yes, we refinanced from a 30 year to a fifteen year loan. Very exciting! Then we went back to the Cracker Barrell to meet everyone. Uncle Sherm and Aunt Mary were in town visiting so we got to enjoy lunch with them and Great Grandma Alice as well.
After lunch we stopped by the mall for a short time until Trace had to go to work. Bummer. It's no fun when he has to leave us for work. We would much rather have him around to spend our time with. Instead of staying home all evening and all day Saturday without him, we decided to go to Elkhart to have a slumber party with Grandma & Grandpa. Before departing, Joan helped me clean our ENTIRE house so I wouldn't have to worry about it all weekend or even next week. Upon completion we headed North!

The kids (and us adults) watched Princess And The Frog and had a popcorn party!

Aubri was full of it tonight with a side of wild. She was bouncing off the walls,

eating EVERYONE's popcorn,

and bugging Trevor so he wasn't able to watch the movie! She instigated a lot of wrestling, but both (all of us) were full of laughs and giggles!!

They didn't waste any time getting started with the music the next morning. Trevor & Aubri love to play instruments and sing with Grandpa Sam.

Aubri was playing the piano and talking/singing into the microphone while Trevor played along too!

Uncle Larry called to check in and let us know today was the day they were burning down an old nasty house. We headed out back with the kids and watched...and...waited...

Trevor found a little nut or something and put it on the flower tree. He said it looks like a man with a little hat!

This was the scene for what seemed like hours and hours...smoke!

So we stayed bundled to keep warm!

She is getting really good at climbing up on chairs all by herself! She is one determined little girl.

She made it!

Enjoying the outdoors!

Okay...so by this time, we were still watching only smoke and the kids were needing something more to do. Grandma got them some toys out of the garage to help pass the time.

Helping Grandma clean out weeds near the pond!

It was finally time to go inside...still just smoke, no fire. We got dressed for the day and began with the band again! Trevor was in Sam's room playing the guitar and singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."

We've got Trevor on the piano, Aubriana on the harmonica, and Sam on the guitar!

Uncle Larry (with Aubri), and Uncle Ron stopped by after lunch to visit for a little while!

FINALLY! Trevor kept checking on the house status. He reported back this time that's it's finally burning.

Our biggest excitement of the day was: (drum roll, please xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)

Aubriana went "poo poo" on the toilet today!! Yeah Aubri girl. You're so awesome and very amazing!

I also have to add that Trevor did an awesome job of sitting on the potty chair the rest of the weekend. No productions, but he was willing to try over and over!! Way to go Trevor.

When we got home Saturday, we ate supper, took a bath and got jammies on, then made stones out of clay that we mixed up with water. It has to set for 24 hours before it can be taken out of the shape and painted!

Aubri and Trevor "racing" before going to bed!

Sunday after church and a nap Trevor got to paint his stone!

He did a great job painting!

WOW Trevor! It's beautiful. Awesome job buddy!!

Aubri got to go to Target tonight after having supper with Daddy and get a pink, Princess Potty Chair. I had to return something and they told me without a receipt I could only get credit if I used the exchange for something in the same department (i.e. potty department). Weird, I'd never heard of that before, but oh well. With that, I decided to buy her a new girly potty chair.

Joan had just got us one, but we'll be able to take that back to Elkhart now so she has one there too since we're there a lot and this potty business is starting to pick up!

I think she's proud of her new chair!!
