Fun with Friends

We have had a very busy week with friends! It all started Sunday evening with Luke and Danae coming over to grill out. We had steak, fish, and turkey for meat, along with bread and my favorite, special potatoes! Oh man, was it ever yummy. We enjoyed conversation and a game of Phase 10.

Then, Monday night we were invited over to the Hamilton's for supper. We grilled out with them too. Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and salads were on the menu! Following supper, we took Trae and Aubriana outside to play on the playground equipment. They had so much fun and didn't want to go back inside. We ended the evening with dessert. Travis & Emily are great friends and we love hanging out with them. We have so much in common and have all been through a lot in our lives: work, medical, children, etc. It is always nice to get together and catch up.

Then, Tuesday night we met our friends, Bret & Amanda and their little girl, Ella at Joe's Crab Shack. We ate a delicious supper, played outside with the girls, and walked around the boardwalk/lake area. It was a beautiful night and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Bret & Amanda are super great, the kind of friends who would give you the shirt off their back. They've always showed us a lot of support through all of Trace's medical stuff. Our get together's with them usually occur somewhere out at Jordan Creek!
