Weekend with the Sullivan Family!

We were blessed to spend the weekend with our dear friends Seth, Allison, Sylas, and Amelia. We have been planning this weekend for awhile and it finally arrived. The purpose was for the guys to take a motorcyle trip somewhere overnight while us girls hung out with our children.

They left on a four or so hour ride to Dubuque Saturday morning, stayed the night, and returned back to Adel Sunday around lunch time.

Seth and Allison are very special to us and we are so blessed to have met them. They were a huge support to Trace and I during all of his medical endeavors at Mayo Clinic. Allison went over and above organizing and preparing meals for us, including me in her play group, spending time with us, amongst other things to make us feel at home and comfortable in Rochester. The love they showed during our time there and that they continue to show has meant the world to us and we are so grateful for their friendship.

Although we didn't have a ton of time, we fit a lot in and had some really great conversation. The highlight was meeting their sweet new baby, Amelia Magdeline. She is just a little over 3 weeks old and is completely precious. I loved holding her, looking at her, and admiring the miracle of her.
