Our Fun Weekend!

We had another very busy and very fun weekend with the kids! Trace was off all weekend, which made it 10x better. We always manage to cram a lot into our days and weekends, but it's all good.

Our weekend started with a little shopping at our favorite store, Target, on Friday afternoon after picking up Trevor. Then it was home to grab a quick nap. Trace and I went out for dinner with Jim and Nikki to celebrate her birthday. We ate at Macaroni Grill and it was fabulous! We made a quick stop at the mall to buy me some new spring jackets!! My intent was to get coupons from Luke at Younkers to use towards a new jacket, hence a bargain!! But...I ended up getting 2 new Columbia jackets, which of course, were excluded from the coupons he had. Bummer. Oh well, I really like my new jackets and it was fun shopping anyway. Before heading home, we made a pit stop at HyVee to get some ice cream. Oh, I should add that Sam & Joan came to babysit for us while we went out for a little bit.

Saturday morning was very relaxing...we all stayed in pajamas most of the morning before going outdoors and taking a wagon ride to the park! We played hard and had so much fun. Aubri and Trevor do so well together, they really love each other and have tons of fun together. Late afternoon we went to our great friends, Phillippe & Amanda's, for supper. The kids all had a super time playing together and we had fun catching up with them. It's been a little while since we've been together so it was a fun night.

Sunday consisted of church, lunch on the deck to enjoy the gorgeous weather, and a LONG nap!! The kid's slept for almost 3 hours...they both got to bed late last night so they needed it today.
