This past Friday, September 3rd, Uncle Larry went home to heaven to be with his Lord and Savior. Larry had been battling cancer for over a year and Friday morning his lungs stopped working. He had been on morphine constantly for a couple weeks so he went peacefully and wasn't suffering with pain at the moment.
Although it is very sad for all of us here who love him so much, it is a joyful time for him where he can enjoy an eternal life with Jesus, without all of the pain, sadness, disease, and suffering on earth.
Uncle Larry was such a kind man. He could always put a smile on your face and turn an ordinary story into a hilarious one just by the way he told it!
Uncle Larry had a special place in his heart for our poodle, Ellie. During our stay in Minnesota last year, Larry opened his home to Ellie and took care of her for the 2 months we were away. It was wonderful knowing she was in good hands and being well taken care of. It sure took a load off of our minds.
Uncle Larry also had a special place in his heart for our little Aubri. He was always so good to her and enjoyed seeing her when we came to visit. He bought her a big thing of bubbles one day and she was overjoyed, wanting them each time we returned!!
We will miss Uncle Larry very much, but are so grateful he was part of our lives and thankful that he will suffer no longer.
We love you, Larry.
Our thoughts and prayers have been with you and the family. He was a great man - didn't know him well but enjoyed him when I saw him. God bless you all! This is a very nice write up about Uncle Larry - thank you for sharing.
